Lab Report #001

Clearance: Level 02+

Filed by: Containment Officer [Redacted]

Status: Active Incident

At 03:17 hours, Containment Block C registered multiple destabilizations. Eight Core specimens were observed outside their primary enclosures, scattered across Lab Wing 4. Monitoring confirms minor breaches, though full-scale escape remains unverified.

Specimens exhibit increased motility and appear to demonstrate rudimentary awareness of external environment. Their behavior is inconsistent, but coordinated enough to suggest shared origin protocols are influencing escape patterns.

Observations

  • Subject W1-01 (Cinder): Residual heat traces detected along corridor walls. Containment foam ineffective.
  • Subject W1-02 (Ripple): Floor sensors report liquid-like displacement despite solid matter readings.
  • Subject W1-03 (Shade): Security footage shows blackouts lasting up to 0.7 seconds when in frame.
  • Subject W1-05 (Spark): Electrical interference disrupted comms for 14 minutes.

Incident Note

Alarms were triggered across all Archive levels, though several staff reported hearing no audio. Auditory suppression event? Pending review.

The breach remains minor, but escalation is likely. Deployment of Irregular-class dampeners has been approved.

Closing Statement

Containment integrity is compromised. More reports will follow as recovery or further destabilization is documented.

End of Report.
